Celebration of Ooty Summer Festival 2022

Nilgiri Hills are famous not only for their picturesque beauty all across the country but are also popular for holding the Ooty Summer Festival. Organised by the tourism department of Tamil Nadu, Ooty Summer Festival is an annual gala event that is celebrated in May. This 121-year old event is quite exclusive and exquisite and primarily focuses on promoting tourism in Ooty and getting everyone acquainted with the city’s natural charisma & cultural importance. Fruit Show: The fruit show is held at Sim’s Park in Coonoor. The display of different kinds of fruits, in an intricate form of art, will make you go bananas. This event, in particular, is organised by the Horticulture Department for over 50 years.

Spice Show: The Ooty summer festival also plays host to the spice show. As the name suggests, here you will witness a variety of spices. This amazing exhibition is worth visiting for every foodie and connoisseur.
